Korangi becomes new Karachi district; notification issued

Karachi: The metropolitan city has been isolated into six regions with the expansion of Korangi region, consistent with a notice issued here on Tuesday. The official warning issued by the Board of Revenue expressed that Korangi
has been made another region. Karachi beforehand comprised of five regions which incorporated South, West, East, Central, Malir and now Korangi region has been added to it. Before the warning, the Korangi region was a part of the East area. The notice said that Shah Faisal Colony, Model Colony, Korangi and Landhi ranges might succumb to the furthest reaches of Korangi region. The choice was taken by the Sindh common government a week ago.
