Nato soldier, Afghan police officers killed in militant attacks

Kabul: Nato says an outside fighter has been slaughtered in an ambush in eastern Afghanistan, while powers say two officers have been murdered in differentiate shootings in the nation's south. A Nato explanation says that the officer
was shot dead Sunday. It didn't say where the shooting happened, nor did it give the nationality of the fighter murdered in the ambush. In southern Uruzgan area, police agent Fared Ayel said a gathering of agitators ambushed a police checkpoint in the Dehrawod region Sunday morning. The representative says one officer and four guerillas were slaughtered in the ambush, which additionally wounded four. In southern Kandahar city, representative's agent Javed Faisel said a cop was shot and slaughtered by two shooters riding a motorbike.
