Over 200,000 IP addresses blocked by PTA

Islamabad: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (Pta) has hindered over 200,000 Ip (Internet Protocol) addresses as a major aspect of a drive against unlawful telecom activity. In an explanation issued here on Saturday, the Pta said that 1382 cell telephone Sims, 3160 telephones and different contraptions included in illicit telecom movement were blocked. The power had presented a New Grey System in October which empowers it to immediately hinder the Ips, which are not incorporated in its white record.
